Wow onto another new year with this sweetie. His first Christmas break ever went really well and it was great to have him home for that extra time. We did a lot of new things, including making his day a lot longer to include lunch time! We had a lot of great adventures and it has been so fun to see him grow this month. Here are January's highlights!
- Devin loves blueberries so he tried blackberries, but did not seem to love them
- He did not want to pick out a lunchbox at the store with me so I just did
- Lengthened his day until 1 which did not seem to bother him
- At tub time, started to splash around and making the "k" sound for Kyler
- Had fun trying a red bell pepper at school but would not eat it at home
- The wonderful aids at his school said that he said "purple" and "blue"
- With it being so cold outside we took scooters downstairs to try, he liked it!
- Woke up with a nasty cough and fever, poor kiddo
- Devin had a great time snuggling by Daddy and watching Basketball, even clapped a bit
- After doing so well going to school until 1, we started going until 2 but has been looking at his schedule trying to figure out why he was not leaving yet
- Has loved to play with puzzles on his tablet, getting so good at it!
- Devin had a snow day and we attempted to play with Play Dough
- We have become obsessed with the DVD to Here Comes Science
- Asked Devin if he wanted a donut (Daddy was going to go get them) so he ran to his chair to eat...sorry we still had to get them!
- We have been eating our cheesy bread without cutting it up now!
- After a fun bath tub time, he loves to giggle when I put lotion on his feet.
- Ky often complains that Devin loves to see me and not him at school when we pick him up but Devin started to run to Ky instead and he was thrilled
- Has become so good at doing the Alphabet Train Puzzle and will say all the letter sounds!
- Did not feel well and threw up all over me, not the best day
- When he was able to go back to school, Devin ran right up to his teachers smiling!
- Devin has a great appetite and when he wants to eat more, he will often go and get food from his brother's plate.
- We tried to ride Sandy at Meijer but he hates her
- He decided that he wanted to try my breakfast burrito and finished the whole thing
- At church we tried Little Lambs and it went well!
- He must really like trying new food because he went to get the broccoli on my plate to eat it.
- Though we cannot fulled dress on our own, Devin has mastered putting on his winter hat!
